Pansy Faye is my dear white and black shorthair lady. What makes her special is that she was a stray that a coworker rescued from the winter cold. I had recently lost my oldest cat Tanner and I was not sure if I was ready for another cat. I looked at the local area humane society website and there were a lot of very sweet kitties to choose. My coworker sent me a couple of photos of "Annie" as she called her at the time.
I immediately fell for her and arranged to take her home. I changed her name to "Pansy Faye" which I felt suited her unique, feisty kitty personality. Pansy loves to chase grasshoppers and and coax us to give her "belly rubs".
All I can say is that Pansy is a very happy kitty and great addition to our family.
