Momcat, as we have named her, was a stray and my husband was feeding her for a few weeks when it became obvious that she was pregnant.
Then she showed up andafter being missing for a few days and we thought that she had lost the babies, when she looked no longer pregnant.
He was still giving her food but she was very wary and would only eat it when we weren't around. Four weeks later, late on a November night and over tthe next wo nights, she brought us six beautiful kittens. My husband's feeding had paid off as they were all very healthy.
We looked after them for four weeks and kept two, a neighbour had one, and the blue cross society found homes for the other three. Momcat made herself at home here and is my husband's constant companion. If you want to know where he is, just look for Momcat.
