Here is Pörrö, (finnish word for Fluffy) our loved female cat. She's just the best cat I know. She lives with me and my fiance in a 56m2 apartment with dog, bunny, snake, lizard, aquarium and tarantula. Yeah, a zoo.
I got her two years ago from a man that asked 50 Euro ($61) for her and I was looking for a cat and she was pretty close so I drove to get her. However I heard a background story about the cat from the owner: His friends got it for him because he recently lost a cat, but also hurt his back and head pretty badly when falling down during winter; for a company cat because that fall took his ability to talk, walk or do anything as good as healthy man can. It was sweet gift, but the man said he couldn't take care of the kitten. I was moved when I heard the story and was happy to help the poor man, until he continued. "I'm quite sure you will give her good home. I can't ask 50 Euro, in fact, here is 50 Euro for you. Buy some food or toys for the cat." He said, and gave us a large sack of cat food and toys with us. He also promised a huge cat scratching tree for her, that we got later. I couldn't believe what I heard and got and thought there is something wrong with the cat. We don't know her age, though - probably between three and five years old.
There wasn't.
Pörrö nowadays is really happy and social adult cat! Nobody leaves our apartment without giving her some love, she takes care of that. She doesn't just run after us to WC, or.. Everywhere, she greets us every time we get home with unique meow and purr right after it. She is a lapcat, I'd say. Lovely. I love her! And we still have the same old scratching tree for her, and she sleeps in it every night.
By the way, I'm the same owner of Choco. Check him out as well! He still lives with my mother, because I moved away to big city, so I couldn't take outdoor cat with me. He is still living a happy male cat life and remembers me <3, which makes me glad.
