Smokey is always there for me. She loves to snuggle close to me when I'm lying on my bed or sitting on the sofa. She greets me at the door when I come home from work. But best of all, she can always turn my frown around.
I actually rescued Smokey when she was a small kitten. She was being attacked by a tom cat outside of our house. She had climbed a tree to escape the cat. I got her down from the tree and brought her inside our house, and has since lived inside ever since then after having her spayed. She has very unique eyes which are two different colors, one green and the other hazel. She has a scar tissue from a scratch she received while attacked at that time. She is our spoiled cat since she is female, and I have two sons; she is the daughter I never had!
