We adopted Quackly from Rawhide Rescue, our local rescue group here in New Jersey. He was the only kitten of a feral mother. We are comic book dealers, so we have always named our cats after Walt Disney comic book characters. Quackly was named after Sir Quackly McDuck, one of the founders of Duckburg and ancestor of Scrooge McDuck and Donald. It turns out that Quackly is quite a "talker" and sometimes he actually sounds as though he is quacking!
Funny that his named turned out to be so appropriate! We love our silly, quirky Quackly!
