Missy is the first cat I have ever owned. She came to be mine in a somewhat special way. Her original owner (a friend of my father's) was going to Spain for and extended vacation. He asked my parents if I would be interested in “cat sitting.” Before even asking, my parents volunteered my home. Let's just say it was love at first sight! She settled in quite nicely and became part of my family. When her owner came back, he asked if I would like Missy to join me permanently, as he was anticipating more travel and he wanted her in a good home. I said YES immediately!
She's approximately six years old (not sure) in this picture, but looks the same these days. She is a very particular girl and the Queen of my household. She is a Siamese, and is a good communicator, her breed characteristic meow is unmistakable. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
