My wife and I found Tequila in a little town in Mexico called Tequila, therefore the name. He was really small, about one month old, malnourished and full of unknown insects. He quickly got his first visit to the vet and much needed bath, which didn't make him very happy. The funny thing is he loves water ever since! We did that not knowing of course, that he would grow into a beautiful and loving companion. He does possess his good share of naughty behavior, nonetheless - but he is s kitten after all.
After all that care, love and food, Tequila grew a bit too much and couldn't do many things regular cats do, such as jumping high enough to reach countertops or just reaching those forbidden places. We soon placed him on a "diet" and he regained a normal weight and his much needed flexibility! He took to his diet, by the way, with much less complaining than we humans tend to do!
We believe he is a very happy cat, he gets all the love and care that he might not have gotten elsewhere He is the best thing that's happened to us in a very long time.
