I first met Isis several years ago when a friend travelling through my city stopped by. She was an odd kitty but I instantly fell in love with her quirky personality. Out of all my friend's cats, Isis stood out as my favorite. A couple of years later, I ended up living with my friend. My cat Spook ended up becoming friends with Isis which is surprising because Spook doesn't get along well with other cats at all. After I moved, it seemed like Spook missed her buddy even though we had other cats at the time. Fast forward a few more years to 2013. My friend ended up in a situation where Isis needed a home. Without hesitating, I said yes even though I wasn't sure if Spook would remember her buddy. The first day Isis was at my house, it was if the two of them were never apart. Sure, there was a bit of hissing but both of them quickly realized they were friends.
Isis is the friendliest cat I have ever met. She has this knack for knowing when people (and cats) are upset and she does everything in she can to help make things better. She definitely has a Siamese cat personality and will not hesitate to talk about anything and everything. She goes nuts over boxes and when she's not bouncing around or cuddling, you can generally find her asleep in a random box. She also likes to play in water and will beg to have the tub filled just a little bit.
I'm not sure where Isis was originally found all those years ago but I am incredibly glad that she ended up a part of my life. She's a bit of an odd kitty but she's an awesome companion and one of my best furry friends.
