Puss in Boots is a Maine Coon cat and was adopted in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 2008. She's very sweet, loves snuggles and Temptation brand cat treats. When she was younger she actually played a lot of fetch with her toy mice. Now she is content to find comfortable sleeping places, even if that sometimes includes my head.
Here's a photo of Puss in Boots on my end table and lap desk. She was born February 9, 2008, and I got her in June that year, so she has been with me through much of life, and is 11 years old. She made the big move with me up to Bass River, South Yarmouth on Cape Cod, and managed the transition to becoming a Northerner with true cat grace. Puss likes to watch birds, naps, and photographing with laser cat eyes if she's not sleeping.
She always seems to know when I am dealing with my chronic illness, and is quite comforting when I most need a purring nurse. She is my furry little treasure and friend.
