This is Isabelle. She is just eight months old. She's a long haired tabby. She is one of three very special cats that live with my husband and me.
Isabelle's mother was a hungry stray, so desperate for love that she insisted on jumping through our window and right into our home on several occasions. It was later that we discovered that she was pregnant, and I knew that she was going to give birth at any moment. I made a comfortable spot for her. That night in a closet, she had five very healthy and robust kittens.
Isabelle tagged along with her four brothers, until three of them were given away. With just one brother left (Eddie, her "twin") the two of them bonded like no other, and are virtually inseparable.
Isabelle follows me everywhere. She is so loyal, she refuses to leave me alone most of the time. When I come home from work she is waiting for me, and then she leads me around the house, swishing her huge puffy tail proudly. Then she attempts to tell me how her day went, but when she tries to meow, nothing comes out! She tries and tries, but in her best effort all that comes out is a little "squeak".
We love her so much.
