Max - also called Maxi - is a beautiful Siamese with chocolate brown points, big blue eyes and an even bigger meow. He is constantly vying for my attention. He will do anything to get it. He tries to sit on my lap where ever I am. He follows me around purring, as soon as I walk in the door. He will chase anything. An untied shoelace, a rubber band, a twist tie; everything is a game to Max.
When he wants me to wake up in the morning (he's usually hungry about five a.m.!) he drags his paws through the venetian blinds which makes a horrible noise, until I get out of bed to give him his breakfast. With his tail straight up in the air, and a loud purr emanating from his throat, I make my way, sleepily, to the cupboard. I don't need an alarm clock anymore. Max is always sure I'm awake well before I need to be!
