Cody is very special to me. It's been three years since I was able to have a pet and I wanted a very special furball to enter my life. I got Cody from a litter of four, and he basically picked me. That made the decision all the more easier. He's energetic, lovable, and just a welcoming wagon! He loves T-R-O-U-B-L-E just like all kittens, but will soon outgrow all of his bad habits. No need to mention them here - all cat pursons go through them with their little tyrants! He is six weeks old in this picture.
Cody certainly has developed his own personality. He's extremely playful, quick on his "large" feet, but such a sweetie. I taught him how to fetch and bring objects back to me. So, now, playtime is all up to him - whatever he brings to me we play with. His favorite toy currently is a stuffed "Grinch" that he retrieves from the Christmas tree and happily carts around the house. He brings it to me, lays it down at my feet, sticks his tail up in the air and shakes it, waiting patiently for me to throw the Grinch. He usually always catches it and brings it right back to me. Cody's quite the jumper - I think he's got some rabbit in him - we play with a fishing rod with feathers on it and he jumps so high into the air - twists his body like you've never seen before. And the flashlight - loves chasing the light up the wall but still can't understand why he can never grab it - this really seems to bring out his "catitude".
Cody is six months old now and is just gorgeous. His coat is very fluffy and he's got the most beautiful gold/green eyes. He's a real sweetie and brings me so much love and joy. I'm so glad to have him as my roommate!
