Emmy joined our family at a year old, and we couldn't have been more thrilled! She spent most of her "kittenhood" in a cage, with little room to move. She was rescued by my veterinarian, and was found to be healthy regardless of her previous living conditions.
At that point, we were a one-cat family, and it was check-up time. That was the morning we were introduced to Emmy. She was so pretty that she didn't look real! I fell in love! The vet's office felt like we would be a good match, and we adopted Emmy a few days later.
It took a short adjustment period for both cats, but now they are best buddies. Emmy is more than making up for all the time spent in that cage! She is so active, always busy running, jumping, playing, and exploring. She is a such joy, and a wonderful addition to our home!!!
