This is my male cat Trouble! He is eight years old. In 2012 I drove from San Diego to a very high kill shelter in Los Angeles to adopt Trouble and his sister Little Girl when they were 4 months old. They were very sick with upper respiratory infections and I nursed them back to health.
Trouble is my Superstar! He is Mr. Personality the life of the party! Trouble is very smart, super strong, strong willed, an alpha male, and adorably cute!
In 2018 I went to see the Acro-Cats, a traveling cat show. During the show I thought, this is exactly what Trouble needs to exercise his brain and to help keep him out of Trouble! Trouble loves to get into mischief! I started training Trouble five minutes every day using positive reinforcement and lots of his favorite treats! I would like to say that I am not an animal trainer and had no experience training any type of animal. Trouble was 6 years old when I started his trick training. It took Trouble a year and a half to learn 10 tricks and they are: High Five, Handshake, Wave, Fist Pump, Who's Number 1, Sit Pretty, Spin, Ring A Service Bell, Jump Through Different Sizes Of Hoops, and Weaving Through My Legs he is still learning.
