This is Coty, he is a tabby mix. He lives with us in Sparta, N.J. and has been part of our family since he was about a year old.
He came into our lives when we visited a local adopt-a-thon in our town. We were looking for a special kitty, one who would adapt to our home and our other cat. We needed a cat with a loving personality and one that was not shy. We saw many cats and were won over by a climbing, purring, and very friendly youngster. We took him home and instantly, he began to rule the house.
He is certainly the boss and even though he was the newcomer,it didn't bother him at all. As he stole the other cat's food, he began to grow in size. We adopted him at 11 pounds, and now have a sevent-pound armful which never says no to food. What makes him very special is the way he sits up and begs for food at the dinner table. It makes us wonder if he really wants to be a dog!
