Frisky was my very first cat. I adopted her at the age of six months. We lived in Belfast, Maine. She was a feisty girl and would once in a while let me know she was the boss with a well-timed swipe or a claw. She loved playing with fishing pole toys. She used to love to go outside and one time I checked on her and she was holding her own surrounded by three dogs. I have never let any of my cats to go out again since she has been gone.
Once I had her on a leash and we were charged by a Siberian Husky that was not on a leash. Frisky saved her own life that day by pulling free and climbing a tree. She made friends with the other cats in the neighborhood, but she ruled the roost. Frisky passed away in April of 2009. She was close to 16 when I had to let her go. I still miss her after all these years!
