While Cali can be a diva to her animal brothers and sisters, she loves her humans with all of her precious kitty heart. Whenever I'm downstairs watching television with my parents, she'll jump up on my lap and relentlessly head-butt me until I give her pettings. Without fail, she gets her due pettings every time. She has me trained, not the other way around. One of her favorite things to eat is Temptations kitty treats (a popular choice among our fur babies). One of her favorite hobbies is scratching the cat tower and playing wildly with the long piece of string attached to it.
Cali proves time and time again that age is just a number and that being a senior doesn't mean letting go of her childlike spirit. She may be an oldster, but she'll always be our baby. We were warned when we adopted her that she would be a handful. At first she was, but she has quickly settled into her forever home with us and she's a joy to have around the house. Her squeaky voice has resulted in me giving her the nickname Squeaker of the House. I also like to call her Cali-Valley and Cali-Fornia. Affectionate nicknames for a sweet little kitty. We love you, Cali!
