Shady (her full name is Shady Lady) is an adorable Calico-colored Persian cat, who allows us to live with her and brightens every day.. She can "sit" and "sit up" ... provided she gets her favorite treat of a cat crunchy covered in peanut butter....and she loves to play fetch, but only if she is in the mood.
At bedtime, she comes to tuck us into bed, then retreats to her own bed for the night. We are late sleepers, but never beyond 8:00, as that is when she determines we need to get up to serve her with fresh water and breakfast. She is very giving. Most mornings she goes out on the lanai and gently brings us a small lizard. She just does not understand why we always release the lizard unharmed. Shady also has a rabbit buddy who comes many evenings for a "staring contest" through the glass sliding door. Everyone who meets her has one word to describe her: "Adorable."
