Alice was born one April in an alley in San Francisco. She and her siblings were found by an animal lover who brought them to a pound. Unfortunately they were not picked up by anybody. The San Francisco SPCA took the pound's "overflow," including Alice and her family. Soon all of Alice's brother and sisters were adopted. Alice was the last one left of the litter. When we saw her, she was kind of playing on her own and her three-month-old body was so sweet and "clumsy"... we knew she had to come home with us.
We took her home the same day. We already had an adult cat at home, so it took some getting used to each other. But little Alice hissed back just as much as she was hissed at! Ever since, the two cats have become buddies. Alice is an inspiration for every body who sees her. She is interested in everything, has always a loving attitude, and is never moody. She finds joy in anything that comes on her path, and it is amazing how creative she can be with basically anything. Our other cat is somewhat nervous and "worries" a lot. Alice doesn't. She teaches us to have a positive attitude and simply enjoy our lives. She is a wonderful example for all of us.
