Mittens' mother, Kitty, was a stray that we found in our backyard. Almost a year after we found her she had 6 kittens. At about that time my guinea pig died so my mom let me keep one of her kittens. Mittens was the smallest one and had the most energy. We kept her and gave the others to my friends. Mittens loves to play and loves attention.
She is an unusual girl, as she is an orange tabby but is a female. Must everyone thinks she is male because of her coloring, but she is all girl, and we love her just as she is. We never know what she will be up to next, but that's just part of the fun!
