I have female Tortoiseshell cat that I got from the cat protection league, and her kitten which I have just had confirmed is a male Tortoiseshell cat. I took him to a cattery two weeks ago and the lady who owns it who is a real enthusiast. She was absolutely gobsmacked when she saw him and told me how incredibly rare he was. I had no idea, came home and had a look on the internet and found Eddie the Male tortoiseshell cat you featured.
Ramsay is extremely affectionate, he spends most of his time on our laps or throwing himself onto his back to make himself look cute so he gets attention. He is half the size of his Mom who I also have adopted but that doesn't stop him whacking her when he gets jealous. He only has to hear me fussing over his Mom, and he will go and dive on her to try and get the attention himself. He is great at losing collars, I have just had the 4th name tag engraved, and bought him his 4th collar, he loves climbing trees so I think that's where he loses them. The first week we had him he got stuck up a tree, he's good at getting up, but not so good at getting back down!! Ah, that will come with time, I am sure!
