This is my rowdy little girl, Roxy! I found her online. She was in her third foster home and she was only five months old. I can't imagine someone not falling for this sweet, playful, active, and outgoing kitty but their loss is our gain. She's the friendliest, most social cat I know. If we have a large gathering, she'll lay in the middle of the living room floor. My husband was never a cat person and she's even won him over. I think it's because she likes everyone, not just me.
She lives in a cat's paradise - she has her own cat door so she can come and go as she pleases. We live on three acres of partially wooded property with a creek and are far back from the road. She loves to go out and hunt and has been known to bring us bullfrogs, chipmunks, and moles. This cat would go stir crazy if she were kept inside. She's smart and found the cat door sooner than I wanted her to, on her second day here! I went out with her for her first several times, her fosters had not let her out, and she took to it like she'd been doing it all along.
She's very dog-like. When she comes inside she'll either come to you to let you know she's there or she'll call out to see if we're home. She'll play rough with my husband, who puts on heavy leather gloves. He'll slide her across the floor and she'll leap back for more with her ears pinned back. If you try to walk by when she's feeling wild, she'll bite your ankle - often unprovoked, but we love her zest for life. This girl is just plain happy to be alive and we are so lucky to have her. She's our cat of the day every day.
