Cinder and Shadow are five months old, and a special little pair, born right here.
Cinder and Shadow are special kitties because they are hard of hearing, they're not totally deaf, but rely a lot on their sight and feeling vibrations. They have since learned hand signals for the most part, simple things like come here, and get down off the counter..... Cinder is the black one, she's a little more shy than her gray sister Shadow who looks a lot like her mamma Shade.
Especially because of their hearing issue, they will always be insie only kitties - the world is too dangerous for a kitten who cannot hear a predator - or a ehicle - approach. But we love them very much, just the way they are. They are both good cuddlers - especially once playtime is done, and are a joy to watch as they play and pounce and make mad kitten dashes throughout the house.
