Gabe came to live with me when he was eight weeks old. His littermate brother Theo joined the family two weeks later -- Gabe was so active he needed someone to play with (besides me)! He is my baby boy -- he nurses my arm for comfort ... still! He loves to hide in small dark places; sometimes I can't find him at all, but he will always come out if I open the door to the deck or open a can on tuna.
He was very sick with pancreatitis last fall ... ED visits, ICU stays, and a feeding tube. But he recovered (Thank you, BVS!) and only has an occasional flare now. His personality is back -- curious, active, loving. He's a lap cat and a nap cat. He helps me in my healing work ... he will lie on the table with clients, right beside the spot of their complaint. He's very special.
