Keiko
is one of three cats in our family, including Pearl, and one dog Jasmine. She joined
our family as a tiny kitten many years ago, having been abandoned by someone at an
apartment dumpster fending for herself.
She has mellowed out over the years, preferring the cat condos and cat beds scattered
around the house to the outdoors. Although she is still feisty at times and a consummate
mouser.
She loves to eat and has finally filled out, having had a difficult time putting on
weight early on. Her favorite treat is tuna fish and can hear the can being open a mile
away and in a deep sleep. She loves to be brushed and will lead us down to the bedroom
where her brushes are, multiple times a day.
She is special to us because she is a very affectionate and content to be where ever we
are. Without complaint she has lived with two different dogs in our family, a few stray
cats, and being the second cat on the totem pole [Pearl our fifteen-year-old Siamese insists on
being number one].
We love her with all our heart and we would love for others to see what a wonderful kitty she is.
