Ned
a.k.a. Deadly Nedley is a very special kitty indeed. When I first brought
him home he was a wee little orange fuzzball that only wanted to be cuddled
and loved. He was a little scared of my dog, but surprisingly he took to my
ferrets instantly, and they reciprocated the love, quickly accepting him as
one of their own. He grew up with his ferret friends and is now bigger than
them, but they remain very close, playing and cuddling and causing all sorts
of mischief together.
Ned is bursting with energy and loves to fly around the house knocking
everything over, hence the nickname Deadly Nedley. His hobbies include: lying
on top of and/or ripping apart whatever you happen to be reading, stealing
food directly off your plate, returning everything (including expensive
vases) to its rightful place on the floor, watching you bathe, licking your
face, kneading/sucking on his favorite furry brown blanket, going for drives,
cuddling/playing with his humans and ferret buddies, tormenting the dog,
grooming the other cats against their will, etc.
Sometimes he drives us nuts, but we love him anyway. He's only been part of
the family for a few short months and we already could not imagine life without him.
