My
Lucy is special because she always knows when I need a cuddle! She is
always there when I need her. She has such a sweet personality and she is so
laid back that nothing seems to worry her. She also loves ping pong balls!
She loves to take them into the bathroom and bat them back and forth in the
tub. She is so funny to watch!
I bought her one day when my son was taking his iPhone to get fixed. We
walked past a pet shop and there she was, looking at me with those beautiful
blue eyes. I asked my son if I should get her, and he said, "Why not?" I went
inside and got to hold her, and that was it - I was in love with her. I did
all the paper work and reserved my beautiful little Lucy to take home. As
soon as she had "Sold" on her collar, I realized how many other people wanted
to buy her, but she was already mine!
When Lucy is being really affectionate, she puts her paw out to touch me. She
is a gentle, relaxed cat that loves to play with balls! Her favorite toys are
the balls that make noises. I built my Lucy her own "catio," an enclosure
where she can be "outside" but safe. She loves being out there, and she sits
on her cat tree watching everyone go by.
Lucy is a Layanese, which is a Himalayan/Tonkinese mix and she loves people,
it doesn't matter if you are a cat person or not. She has a sixth sense when
it comes to me, though. She knows when I am sick; I have early onset
Parkinson's Disease. She will sit so close to me like she is protecting me
when I am not feeling well.
Lucy is such a lovely cat with a big personality. I have had cats all my life
and couldn't imagine not having them. Cats love you without judging, they do
it unconditionally. My cats they are a big part of my life, and they are
very, very spoilt. All animals should be if you really care about them, and Lucy agrees!
