I
would like to introduce my cat, Simba. This is our only male pet, he lives
here with three other female cats (two of which are his sisters) and a female
dog. We lost our one cat and had put missing cat posters up around town. This
elderly couple called us and asked us if we would like to take this pregnant
cat that was roaming around their backyard home. We brought her home and
pretty soon she had a litter of five kittens. We kept three of the kittens,
including our Simba, and gave the other cats to good homes.
Simba is five years old. He is quite the snuggler, especially with my mom,
and he loves to lay in the strangest positions. He is also very loving boy
and likes to brush up against your leg in order to get some loves and, more
often, to get you to open the door. He is a very tolerant cat, you can flip
him every which way and he will typically stay in whatever position you leave
him in. He has claimed his very own chair in my bedroom and you can usually
find him curled up in it otherwise he is probably outside exploring the bush
or neighbors' yards. He is very laid back and is an important part of our family.
