Jax
is my first Devon Rex. I decided to get him because I couldn't resist his
cute little face in the photos I saw on the breeders website. I chose the
breed Devon Rex because of their big bat-like ears, peach fuzz fur and for
their incredibly mischievous personalities.
He knows how to open doors and open the cat treat box inside the pantry. His
favorite game is "cat fishing" where I dangle a rod with string and have
something attached to the end. He also likes to play chasing games with the dog.
Jax is also special for the following reasons:
- He climbs to the top of the curtains and swings off the rod
- He secretly steals meat from the kitchen bench while my back is turned
- He uses the dog in his "let's rip apart the toilet rolls" scheme
- He meows until I sit down so he can sleep on my lap
He can be very independent but at night he sleeps under my blankets next to
me. He also loves to sit on my lap and have pats. Devons are huge attention
seekers. I would love to get a second Devon some day!
