This
is my girl, Inkling. My husband and I rescued her from a shelter when
she was two months old. We took her to the vet and he said that she wouldn't
make it to her first birthday. We had faith that the vet was wrong and now
look at this beautiful girl! She will be three years old November 22nd.
She loves to get her photos taken and be the center of attention. This smart
girl knows exactly when her Mum is going to get an attack of pain from her
MS. She comes running to her Mums side and lets her know that to stop and sit
on the floor and to cuddle her until the attack is over. My husband came up
with the name Inkling because of two reason. We had an "inkling" that we were
going to find a black and white kitty with her personality for our very own.
And of course, it looks like some ink spilled over her and gave her little ink blots.
She loves rolling around on her rug and when you put her toys under it she
will dive under it to get them. Her favorite toy is an automatic laser
pointer that we put in the center of the room and it goes around and around
in circles and counter circles. We call it the "mouse" and if you mention
that word she goes straight to it. We are so very proud of our girl.
