My name is Keith and I am a cool rock'n' roll cat, having been named for Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. I started life in a vacant lot in a bad neighborhood in Brooklyn, but luckily was rescued by my dad, along with a couple of my siblings. The day I was rescued, I was having a nice nap in the sun on a rock, but I know I lucked out.
I have a great time in our New York City apartment, hanging out with my BFF Simon, who's a sweet Siamese, forcing open closets so that I can scatter the contents all over the floor, watching life on the street below from the living room window, playing with the cords of the venetian blinds in the bedroom from my perch atop a high book shelf, and getting much deserved shuteye in various soft spots throughout the apartment. When I was little, I had a bad upper respiratory infection, which cleared up, but left me with a slightly milky eye. That's OK - everyone I meet thinks I'm very cute, though no one can quite pinpoint why!
