I have two cats, Sammy and Jo Jo. I adopted Sammy from a farm eight years ago and he has been a joy ever since. This is Jo Jo, she is an American Shorthair, black and white with a beauty spot on her nose, isn't she pretty? She is sister to Sammy but a year younger, same parents. They are great buddies and get along well, playing, chasing each other and wrestling. I adopted her from the same farm.
She enjoys excursions outdoors, as of course she started life on a farm, but is content to pose nicely on her cat tree for me, rather than do any serious hunting. She knows she's go a good life here, I think! And she is sweet, and affectionate in return, perhaps glad to be living the good life, rather than searching haystacks or her dinner! Both cats enjoy the Christmas tree, and like hanging out underneath it, perhaps think of summer days in the garden, where she often just finds a shady spot to watch the world from under the plants!
