This is Ooska, we adopted him some winters ago. I don't remember exactly what year. He loves petting, cat nip and his best friend is a feral born kitty we adopted named Rosie. He likes rug rides when he can get them and for some odd reason only likes cat food. He could be spoiled for choice because we offer chicken, hamburger and fish to our cats, but he turns his nose up at all of it when the others are glad to have the option.
His name was a sort of accident. My mother likes to give names in Cherokee so she can keep practicing the language. She thought she was giving him the name "head" in Cherokee because he has such a large head, but later we learned it means "Skull" so now he's been given something like a big bad biker name by mistake. LOL! Too late to change his name anyway.
Him and Rosie are quit the mismatched pair. He weighs in at nearly thirty pounds and Rosie only about five or six. Still, they adore each other and he might have helped Rosie adjust to the indoor life. She's turned into a remarkably well behaved kitty that likes attention and will seek it out from her human family members.
