This is my lovely Holly Golightly, also known as Bunny Rabbit, Honey Bunny or "The Queen."
I brought Holly home from the Humane Society six years ago and have not regretted one single moment. She has been a beautiful ray of sunshine in my life and always manages to lift up my spirits.
Holly is a gentle kitty, with a very lady-like meow and when she lays down, she does it in a very dignified sort of way. She has always been very playful, and loves to play all types of games with me. Her favourite game is hide and seek. She will hide and, when I least expect it, she will jump out of her hiding spot to tag me on the foot. In her quiet moments, she likes to nestle on my lap or lay next to me in front of the television, occasionally giving me nose kisses. When I paint, Holly watches me, very curiously. I have to be very careful because I have caught her trying to dip her paw in the paint when I wasn‚t looking. Once, she got too close to the paint and ended up with a little black moustache.
For those who are looking for a pet, please consider an animal from the local shelter or humane society. Adult dogs and cats are just as wonderful as kittens and puppies.
