Kitty
was a rescue last February, living outdoors with another
abandoned pet, a Golden Retriever. We found a great home for the dog,
but decided to keep the cat. Not knowing her previous name, we went
with Kitty. (Here, Kitty Kitty!)
She is quite a trooper, living in four different homes with us since
February! Now that we are settled in our new home she is having a
good time. What makes her special is that she always greets me when I
come home from work. If she's outside, she comes right to my car! The
only piece of furniture she goes on is our bed, and the only object
she uses as a scratching post is an old oak tree off our patio! She
is also quite tolerant of our twelve year old Cockatiel. When we tap
the carpet next to her, she'll roll over and give us her belly!!
We're very fortunate to have such a loving cat! We had lost our 21
year old cat the previous November, so Kitty has really helped us
fill the void!
Kitty is "cousins" with
Paulie,
the Silver Tabby Maine Coon.
