Meet
Peanut, or "Peebs" for short. She came to us about a year ago when
we rescued her and Noodle from animal
control. Peanut is a very soft, special kitty with beautiful pale blue
eyes and peach-colored ears. She is the most sociable and friendly cat I
have ever met, and she is constantly purring away like a little motor.
She will make friends with everyone who walks in the door. Our guests
can rest assured that they will be covered in fluffy, white fur after
leaving our house because Peanut will have to cuddle with them. The last
time I took Peanut to the vet for a checkup, they wanted to keep her as
the official office greeter, because she purred the whole time and
rolled around on the examining table, happy as can be, despite the fact
that she had to get a shot! Peanut loves water, and if you leave a
faucet on so it's just dripping, she will go nuts batting at it and
getting herself completely soaked in the process. She is quite adept at
opening bifold closet doors, and she loves to play with anything and
everything, including bugs, whiffle balls, milk rings, and twist ties.
In this picture she's relaxing with her "boyfriend" Critter, a brown
fuzzy toy she likes to lick and bat around. Everyone deserves a cat as
sweet and special as our little Peanut.
