Eduardo
or Eddie, as he is known, is the poster child for the power of
PetTalk! He was rescued from the mean and lonely streets of Chicago by a
member of PetTalk. She was unable to take him home but kept him in her
office while working to find him a home. He was shy and scared. The end
of the week came and she worried about leaving him alone in the office
all weekend. I offered to let him stay in my basement for the weekend. I
called her on Sunday and said we would try him a little longer... and
that was almost a year ago.
Eduardo was named by yet another member of PetTalk to go with our other
cat Edwina.
Edwina and Eddie have worked out a relationship. He is bigger than she,
younger than she, and stronger than she. She chases him and she swats
his behind. He chases her and she swats his behind. He finds a nice spot
for a nap... she takes it. And still he loves her - my gentle giant.
They spend most of the day in the same room if not on the same bed/sofa!
