This
is our pretty Hermoine kitty. She is very affectionate to everyone she
meets, not just her own family. She will give kisses and head-butts to show
her love. which is so sweet! She is not afraid of anything, even crazy, loud
kids do not scare her, unlike some cats. She loves to cuddle up on a warm
lap, and under blankets. She's like a puppy!
Hermoine doesn't do tricks, but she does silly things. She loves to
drink water from a lightly running faucet, will attack and play with anything
that is dangled in front of her. She gives kisses when we pick her up when
she greets us when we come home. She sits in our sunroom most of the day
watching the birds and squirrels, chattering her teeth at them as she stalks them.
She is our thirrd cat, we had a brother/sister pair, Sam and Frodo, but Frodo
sadly passed away from stomach cancer two years ago, then shortly thereafter,
the kids wanted to go kitty hunting, and we found Hermoine. We picked her
from the Wisconsin Humane Society because she was the only kitten that
wouldn't run away from my son, who was four years old at the time, when he ran
up to her on the floor. We still have Sam who is ten now, she's Hermoine's
buddy and acts like her mama.
We also call her "Potter" as she is named after Hermoine from the Harry Potter books!
