I
would like to introduce my lovely cat, Sugar. She is a very beautiful and affectionate girl
who likes to express her affection by biting your fingers. She is soft and
fluffy, as you can tell, and is just an overall magnificent part of our
household.
We actually saved her mom who was a stray that someone had found in their
backyard. We had recently lost one of our two cats and a couple had seen our
poster, called us and asked if we wanted her. We then took the mom home and
she had five kittens including Sugar and we kept three of them and gave the
other two as well as the mom away (she did not get along with our eldest cat)
to good homes.
She is a rather spunky and demanding cat. She likes to play with one of those
laser pointers and will go full speed when trying to chase it down. Sugar
will also make this funny little sound when she sees the red dot, I think it
is some kind of hunting sound that lots of cats do, but its really cute. If
she wants outside or in a room she will continuously meow and paw at the door
until you open it for her. She also likes to touch your leg as you walk by
her sometimes to make you aware that she desires some loving. Sugar will also
bop you on the leg and simply run away sometimes, it's one of the things that
makes her quirky as well as her biting your fingers to show affection. She is
usually pretty independent and not one to constantly be around you like some
of our others cats, but she can be very affectionate when she wishes to be.
She is rather wary of strangers, but is one of the "top dogs," so to speak,
of the four cats in our house.
