This
is my cat, his name is Viljo. He is a domestic house cat, and lives in
Espoo, it's a city next to the capital city, Helsinki. He likes to play with
me almost constantly. If I don't feel like playing, he starts to cry or
nibble my feet to remind me of his existence. And every evening he likes to
sleep on my or somebody's lap for at least two hours. It's a must.
In the city he's not very interested in outside world, but when we go out to
the summer cabin, he wants to stay out all the time. I put a harness on him
and we have long walks in the forests and small roads around the cabin. He
likes walking while on a harness, but sometimes he obviously wants to run
faster and wilder than I can, so I let him loose from the harness and he just
rockets away as fast as he can and climbs a nearest tree very quickly. Then
he spends some time hanging from the tree trunk looking around before
skillfully climbing down. And after he's landed, he does the same thing again
and again. After the fifth or sixth tree he's so tired he just lays down and
almost falls into sleep in the middle of the road. Then I usually carry him
to the cabin and he sleeps for hours. There have been some lynx sightings
around the area, so he's not allowed to roam around totally unsupervised.
One speciality of his is standing on his hind legs. He does this just to see
better. He'll do it on the windowsill, in the forest, everywhere. It is very
cute! We love him!
