I
brought Kami home because my other cat, Gino, needed some company. He was
alone too much time because I am a student and even if I'm home, I can't play
with him as much as he wanted to. Little Kami was two weeks old when she
arrived home and she was very scared about Gino. He is a pretty big cat and
she was very small. I guess he was very confused because he has an orange cat
toy, same size as Kami when she was smaller, and he wanted to play with her
the same way he play with his kitten plush. Of course, Kami didn't feel like
playing the first two days, she was always with me, sleeping, but not with Gino.
Thankfully, three days later they just started to like each other and I
wasn't scared to leave them alone anymore. They're now like father and daughter.
Something interesting about these two is that Gino is deaf ... yes, he just
can't hear anything and it's really hard to know where he's hiding or
sleeping. Now with Kami around, I know they're always together and when I
call her, Gino follows her because he knows I'm calling them, specially when
it's food time.
About Kami, well, she loves playing, much more than Gino, she loves food, she
actually eats more than him and she eats just ... every kind of food, doesn't
matter if it's cheap or not. Gino isn't that way. He's a very delicate cat.
But I guess Kami knows she has a lot of growing to do to catch up!
