This
is Iva Midnight. She was born on the 29th of March 2013. Iva came into
my life when she was six weeks old. From the day I brought her home she and I
have become inseparable. After every day we just get closer together, every
time I come home she is right there at the door to greet me. Though she gets
into things she shouldn't and sometimes gets on my nerves, all is put to rest
when she curls up next to me and makes me feel as though nothing matters but
us. I love Iva so much that nothing can tear us apart.
Iva spent a lot of time with dogs in her first few weeks, one of the things
she picked up from them was the lovely game of fetch. After a few days with
her she decided to bring me a Nerf dart she found. I loaded it into my
longshot CS-6 and fired it across the room, she ran after it and brought it
right back to me. She is very affectionate, even when outside.
I looked around for a while and found an ad on Facebook about Iva. I fell in
love with her and went straight over to pick her up, when I got there she was
very afraid of me. Her biological mother picked her up by the scruff and
dropped Iva at my feet. Iva is always concerned when she can't see me and I
am always concerned when I can't see her. Every time I close my door to get
changed she is right there on the other side attempting to jump up and grab
the door handle to let herself in. Whenever I sit down to relax with a movie
or a game, she is right there by my side watching the TV with me. The only
thing she doesn't like is other people and her collar.
