This
is Dakota, my gorgeous moggy. Her mother was an abandoned cat in my area
which my mother and I decided to take into our home. About two or three weeks in we
noticed she was getting a bit big, but thought nothing of it assuming she was
getting fed elsewhere. Little did we know, she was pregnant with two adorable
kittens which she gave birth to, without any problems, under my mum's bed.
From there we decided to call a vet and get some advice about what to do,
having never owned a cat or cared for kittens ... the most we ever had was a
hamster! I feel like we did well bringing up two kittens and their attitude
towards other people hopefully reflects that.
Now it is two years down the line and Dakota loves a good fuss and purrs like a
freight train! She gets on well with her sister, they are constantly grooming
each other, playing and generally causing mass chaos. I wouldn't change them
for the world! As you can see, from that cute little fluffball she was, she
grew into a beautiful cat, and knows she is loved!
