Hello,
I wanted to nominate my kitty girl ;) Princess Sophie is a very
special pet for me, because she is my first cat ever! I was definitely not a
cat lover (I have two dogs, Pomeranians), so I never thought I'd get one. The
Chocolate Point coloration of this breed is rare in Poland and not many
breeders have these kitties. Her coloration and her icy-blue eyes totally
owned my heart! She also makes me rethink everything I thought about cats before.
Sophie is extremely cuddly and friendly, and, despite what they say about her
breed - noisy as anything!! She meows all the time, having funny
conversations with me, asking to feed her or when feeling like in danger. She
also loves to sleep with me and cuddle up to me. I always wake up with her
under my arm, her head next to my face. She also joins me during bath time,
watching the water very carefully. What really surprises me is the fact that
she gets along with my dogs really well!
She is still a small seed - an "ugly duckling" - that will bloom with age
into a beautiful flower - like most of colorpoint cats. Her points (dark
spots) are going to grow bigger and darker and cover most of face, making a
dark "mask," and darkening her whole ears, tail and paws.
I hope she, as she has great ancestors and pedigree, will get some prizes in
Cat Shows! In future, when she is an adult, I want to find her a mate and, if
it's possible, leave one her sons with us - his name is already going to be
Prince Michael, as a tribute to the musician of my heart and the greatest
King of Pop, that always will be greatly missed by me - Michael Jackson.
She's my new awesome furry friend.
