Lulu
is a very mellow, very loving cat. He is very relaxed and enjoys
traveling, walks outdoors on a leash, chasing toys around the house and,
most of all, feeling included in whatever I am doing. He is often sitting
on my desk, watching me work on the computer or on the corner-sofa in the
kitchen, watching me cook. His favorite thing to do, though, is fitting
himself in tight spaces and taking long naps in there.
I have had many cats since my childhood, but never did I meet such a
well-behaved one. I can leave raw meat or cold cuts on the table, and Lulu
will not jump and steal them. He will ask, with feline curiosity, what I
have there and he will declare himself pleased if I show him and let him
sniff a piece. He is also used to saying thank you for the meal every time
I feed him, by weaving himself through my legs and butting his head against me.
He doesn't meow at impossible hours, nor does he wake me in the morning
when he is bored. He sleeps through the night, like a human. His daily
adventures are documented as cute first-person accounts at his tumblr blog, and I am his photographer, on call 24/7!
