Delphine
started out her life with us as just a temporary foster. That is,
until something horrible happened. When she was only two weeks old she started
the seizures, her little body violently shaking until she would come out of
it. Since the first she's only had one other seizure episode, but we're
always prepared for another.
She's actually a very tiny thing, only half the size of her two litter mates,
but she's full of sass and classic cattitude now. This is a far cry from her
shaky start. She's become a permanent part of the family, and has a job as a
full-time studio cat. This mostly involves chasing paint brushes on the
floor, or telling us that yarn is in fact her toy, not a project. She even
finds time to beat up on her brothers like every sister should, even when
they are larger than her.
Delphine, despite being rather young has had her fair share of trips to the
vet to make sure she can still live a long and happy life, despite her
condition, and she seems to live up to their diagnosis by being a super
active and playful baby every day.
