Little
Boo was adopted as a stray kitten by my family in North Carolina
around 2002. I was always her favorite human and she didn't get along with my
family's other cats, so when I moved out of the dorms at college and could
have a pet she came to live with me, where she has been ever since, moving
with me from North Carolina to Virginia in 2009.
Little Boo had a serious health scare in the fall of 2011, but she was saved
by the great vets at Ivy Square Animal Hospital here in Charlottesville.
Today she's healthy and full of spirit and sass. She's very affectionate, but
only on her terms. Fortunately for me, her friendly moods outnumber her fussy
moods, particularly since she's started getting older. In her spare time, she
enjoys chewing on cardboard, shredding my furniture, and falling asleep on my
lap. She's very special and I can't imagine life without her!
