Stubs
was a Japanese Bobtail, with a coloration the family had never seen
before; a pale ginger with even paler tabby markings. He knew he was
handsome, and would flaunt it no matter where he went. Stubs was an
indoor/outdoor cat, who absolutely loved camping. When he would go outside he
wouldn't wander far, only to the edge of the driveway and back to find a warm
place to sunbathe.
He was born under our trailer, having a rough start in life Stubs and his
sister Jerald-Dean (a Russian Blue almost) were the only two surviving
kittens from their litter. Stubs quickly claimed the second youngest child in
the family as his, and would sleep in her bed every night. When his girl
moved away, Stubs waited patiently for her return.
Unfortunetly Stubs came down with an unknown sickness that ended up taking
his life when he was in his 9th year, there was nothing the vet could do to
save his life. We will always remember him.
