This
is Louis, he is approximately seven years old and is a rescue cat. Six years
ago we went to the local cats rescue. As we walked into the room where the
cages were, there in the cage directly in front of us was a pair of bright
green eyes staring up at us, and we knew he was the right one for us. The
staff told us he had been brought in a week earlier after he was found
wandering round a local housing estate.
We had always wanted a ginger cat! He is extremely loving, always giving
kisses, constantly purring, and spends every night curled up next to me. He
can't bear to be on his own, so is always near by no matter who is around.
Louis is friendly and loves nothing more than having his tummy tickled whilst
he sleeps on his back with his legs wide open! He also enjoys being tucked up
in my bed when it's cold outside.
The main focus of Louis' life, however, is his food ... and unfortunately
everyone else's food too. I have also managed to train him to come running to
me whenever I click my fingers, which he does every time without fail!
He is an older brother figure to our younger cat Reggie and regularly licks
him clean when he's been outside and has got in a bit of a mess. Louis is a
loyal and faithful friend to us and we love him very much.
