When
my cat came to us she was so small that she fit into my hand. Then she
got bigger and suddenly I needed my entire arm. Now she is 45 cm (18 inches) long and
weighs 3 kg (6.6 pounds). My cat is like an alarm clock. She wakes me up every morning at
half past 6. If I want to do my homework she always comes to me and sits on
my notebook and wants to be petted. My father suggested her name Melina
because our neighbor's cat is called Merlin.
During the day she is inside and sleeps. At night she is outside and strolls
around. Sometimes on nice days she is also outside. She eats normal cat food
but she is quite choosey and likes different varieties frequently.
